The ceiling is the largest free area in the room and so it is predestinated for a foil heating system. Heated up to 30-35 °C by the THERMOTEX heating foil, the ceiling emits the heat as soft infrared radiation with a wavelength from 9 to 11 µm.
Therefore the radiation corresponds to the natural human radiation.

Caused by the less heat-inertia of the system and the promptly effect of the radiation, the heating-up periode is very short and the system can be controlled quite exactly.
These advantages and the possibility to control the temperature of each room individually makes the THERMOTEX ceiling heating to a champion in energy-saving.

Gypsum-boards, wood-, plastics- or metal covering can be used as ceiling lining.
