HTS Egger & Grutsch KG was founded in 1984 by Lambert Egger and Gerold Grutsch.
The main business field at the beginning was the production of the THERMOTEX® -
Heating Foil.
THERMOTEX®, a very thin and flexible foil, based on electric conducting plastic
(PTFE-Carbon), is a development from PLANSEE / Reutte.
Our longtime experience led to energy-saving, comfortable heating systems for
house heating.
HTS became also experienced in the special heating field of churches and similar houses.
Specialized heating systems have been developed for these applications .

In 1993 the manufacturing capability was extended with additional resistance materials
as etched foils and wires for the production of heating elements for industrial applications.

In 2003 Gerold Grutsch retired and the company was renamed in HTS Egger KG.
